Basically its not necessary to replace brake caliper, while replacing brake rotors and brake pads. But many car drivers/owners do it.
If the caliper pistons push in smoothly with a c-clamp and the boots are not torn I would not worry about replacing the calipers. There were not known to freeze up. I would definitely flush the fluid with new brake fluid. There was a TSB on the rear brake drums for noise and shudder. If you are experiencing noise or shudder in the rear brakes it would be a good idea to update them. The shoes usually will go 150000 miles.
