First the basics needs to be checked, the breaker the fuses, the power outlet the power cord for compressor. If any of this is getting short or loose then it has to be checked and replaced.
Look at the gauge on the compressor tank. Is it showing pressure? Is that pressure reading higher than the high pressure cut-out of that compressor?

Check the pressure switch,if its getting short or its faulty then it has to be replaced.
D you hear any kind of click when you power it on,it can be faulty capacitor controlling compressor.in hat case replace it.If all checked out ok then its faulty compressor itself.
This types f problems needs lots of testing checking.
Sometimes fault is very minor and can be repaired manually.ut in some case, proper testing from technician is required.
Thanks.
