Bell housing and transmission will not come apart on 1996 Toyota Tacoma?

Basically all its fitted with bolts.

Basically in cases of replacing the clutch assembly, the bell hosing and transmission needs to be apart.
First the 4 bolts on the bell housing needs to be out.So remove the 4 bolts.
The components will be loose ,but will not come apart.

What you're going to find is that the input shaft is frozen to the pilot bearing in the end of the crankshaft. This creates a problem. I actually had one, one time that I had use a winch/come along to pull the transmission back and ended up pulling the pilot bearing out of the end of the crankshaft. This will help but still will not get the transmission out of the vehicle. At that point then you will need to remove the 6-12 mm bolts that hold the clutch plate to the flywheel. Once that is done then the clutch plate and disk will come out with the transmission with the pilot bearing stuck on the end of the input shaft. Hopefully if you have two large pry bars and pry on both sides between the engine and the Bell housing you can get the input shaft to release from the bearing and the bearing stays in the crankshaft. That is the only other option.

This details will help.
Thanks.
