Fuel leaks from fuel pulsation dampener on Toyota Corolla?

Many Toyota car drivers notice this problem.The fuel starts leaking just before the fuel rail.

But part that is leaking is called a fuel pulsation dampener. Is designed to smooth out the fuel pulsations due to the fuel pump delivery system. I have seen a few these leak there is a diaphragm in there that gets old and leaks. You cannot purchase this separate. You have to purchase the fuel rail. It will list for about $120. Is not likely a fuel pressure problem. The fuel pressure regulator is mounted to the fuel pump assembly in the fuel tank. The only way to know for sure would be to install it fuel pressure gauge and monitor the fuel pressure when the engine is running. More than likely it's just a bad dampener.But complete fuel rail assembly needs to be replaced,which comes with dampener included.
