Overdrive light in the dash blinks?

Normally the only time the overdrive light will flash is if a speed sensor has malfunction.Get the car computer module scanned and see if you get any stored error code.If not then,
There is some type of electrical short in the overdrive light circuit that is causing it to illuminate partially.
