Flexplate Drive Plate Removal on Acura?

Flexplate (Drive Plate)
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

The details are described below :----

2001-02 Models

1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the eight drive plate bolts, then separate the drive plate from the crankshaft flange.

To install:

1. Install the drive plate. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown to 54 ft. lbs. (74 Nm).
2. Install the transmission.

2003-06 Models

1. Remove the transmission assembly.
2. Remove the drive plate (A) and washer (B) from the engine.

To install:

1. Install the drive plate and washer on the engine crankshaft, and tighten the eight bolts in a crisscross pattern to 54 ft. lbs. (74 Nm)..
2. Install the transmission assembly.
