How To Replace Blend Door Actuator on Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator?

The procedure is similar for both ford and Lincoln car models:-----

Blend Door Actuator

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Details are as follows:----

Except Expedition EL & Navigator L Models

Specific to:

Ford Expedition 2008-2009

Lincoln Navigator 2008-2009

1. Remove the RH quarter trim panel.
2. Disconnect the auxiliary temperature blend door actuator electrical connector.
3. Remove the 4 auxiliary temperature blend door actuator screws.
4. Remove the auxiliary temperature blend door actuator.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Expedition EL & Navigator L Models

Specific to:

Ford Expedition 2008-2009

Lincoln Navigator 2008-2009

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions section.
2. Fold the third row seats fully forward.
3. Remove the RH D-pillar trim panel.
4. Remove the lift gate sill plate.
5. Remove the rear floor cargo space trim panel
6. Position the rear floor cargo space floor trim aside and remove the RH rear quarter trim panel bolt.
7. Remove the RH quarter trim panel utility tray.
8. Detach the 3 rear and 5 upper RH quarter trim panel clips and position the quarter trim panel aside
9. Disconnect the auxiliary mode door actuator electrical connector.
10. Remove the 2 auxiliary mode door actuator screws.
11. Remove the auxiliary mode door actuator.
12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
