The procedure is similar for both ford and Lincoln car models:-----
Removal & Installation:---
- Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions section.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
- Remove the RH and LH headlamp assemblies.
- Remove the cooling fan shroud.
- Remove the 2 radiator-to-radiator support bolts.
- Remove the 2 bolts and position the degas bottle aside.
- Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the bolt and the horn assembly.
- Remove the 6 LH and RH air deflector-to-condenser core pin-type retainers.
- Disconnect the 2 transmission fluid cooler-to-radiator hoses.
NOTEThe cooling module must be positioned rearward to raise and detach the 4 condenser mounts from the radiator. - Depress the retaining tabs on the 2 lower condenser mounting brackets and raise the condenser assembly until the 4 condenser mounting brackets detach from the radiator.
- Remove the radiator.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure and note the following:
- Tighten radiator-to-radiator support bolts to 11 ft. lbs.(15 Nm).
- Tighten degas bottle mounting bolts to 11 ft. lbs.(15 Nm).
- Tighten horn assembly mounting bolt to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
These details will help.
Thanks.
