The procedure is similar for both ford and Lincoln car models:-----

The radiator replacing procedure is as follows:---

Removal & Installation:---

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions section.
  2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
  3. Remove the RH and LH headlamp assemblies.
  4. Remove the cooling fan shroud.
  5. Remove the 2 radiator-to-radiator support bolts.
  6. Remove the 2 bolts and position the degas bottle aside.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the bolt and the horn assembly.
  8. Remove the 6 LH and RH air deflector-to-condenser core pin-type retainers.
  9. Disconnect the 2 transmission fluid cooler-to-radiator hoses.
    NOTE
The cooling module must be positioned rearward to raise and detach the 4 condenser mounts from the radiator.
  10. Depress the retaining tabs on the 2 lower condenser mounting brackets and raise the condenser assembly until the 4 condenser mounting brackets detach from the radiator.
  11. Remove the radiator.
  12. To install, reverse the removal procedure and note the following:
    1. Tighten radiator-to-radiator support bolts to 11 ft. lbs.(15 Nm).
    2. Tighten degas bottle mounting bolts to 11 ft. lbs.(15 Nm).
    3. Tighten horn assembly mounting bolt to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
