The Procedure is Exactly Similar for Chevy, Envoy & Buick car models.
Blower Motor
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION details are mentioned below:----
Body VIN Type 3
- Remove the HVAC module-auxiliary assembly.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors (4) from the blower motor-auxiliary (3).
- Remove the air outlet duct from the blower motor-auxiliary.
- Remove the screws (2,5) from the blower motor-auxiliary.
- Remove the blower motor-auxiliary (3).
To install:
- Install the blower motor-auxiliary (3).
- Install the retaining screws (2,5) to the blower motor-auxiliary. Tighten the screws to 88 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
- Install the air outlet duct to the blower motor-auxiliary.
- Connect the electrical connectors (4) to the blower motor-auxiliary (3).
- Install the HVAC module assembly.
- Remove the right rear quarter trim panel.
- Remove the retaining bolts (5) from the HVAC module-auxiliary (1).
- Remove the retaining nuts (4) from the HVAC module-auxiliary (1) under the vehicle.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors (3,4).
- Remove the blower motor screws.
- Remove the blower motor (1) from the HVAC module-auxiliary (2).
To install:
- Install the blower motor-auxiliary (1) to the HVAC module-auxiliary (2).
- Install the blower motor-auxiliary screws and tighten to 18 inch lbs. (2 Nm).
- Connect the electrical connectors (3,4).
- Install the retaining bolts (5) to the HVAC module-auxiliary.
- Tighten the HVAC module-auxiliary retaining bolts (5). Tighten the bolts to 88 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
- Install the retaining nuts (4) to the HVAC module-auxiliary (1) under the vehicle. Tighten the nuts to 88 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
- Install the right rear quarter trim.
