How to Remove Front and Rear Control Panel on Ford Windstar?

The retails to replace control panel are as follows :-----



Removal & Installation of control panel
FRONT
REAR
Details are mentioned below:----

Front

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the ashtray.
3. Remove the retaining screws over the ashtray cutout in the dashboard.
4. Remove the finish panel by grasping the outer edges and pulling outward until the retaining clips release the panel.

5. Label and disconnect the electrical harness.
6. Remove the control assembly retaining screws.

7. Label and disconnect the electrical and vacuum harnesses.
8. Remove the heater control.

To install:

1. Position the heater control.
2. Connect the electrical and vacuum harnesses.
3. Install the control assembly retaining screws and tighten securely.
4. Connect the electrical harness.
5. Install the finish panel by aligning the retaining clips and pushing the panel in place.
6. Install the retaining screws over the ashtray cutout in the dashboard and tighten securely.
7. Install the ashtray.
8. Connect the negative battery cable.

Rear

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Using an appropriate tool, remove the control panel bezel.
3. Label and disconnect the wire harness.
4. Remove the control panel.

To install:

1. Replace the control panel.
2. Connect the wire harness.
3. Using an appropriate tool, install the control panel bezel.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
