I parked my 1985 Ford F150 over the summer. When I drove it three months later it only can go about 15 mph and overheats within a few blocks, with the radiator fluid spilling into the overfill
reservoir. I have replaced the thermostat and the coil. A friend did a compression test and that was pretty normal, 120-130 on each spark plug.
Got it to the mechanic,he indicated its faulty water pump,replace the water pump and all is well now.
