Spark plugs:---
Removal & Installation
- Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
- Disconnect battery negative cable from battery and properly isolate to prevent accidental reconnection.
- Remove the ignition coil.
- Remove foreign material from the spark plug well with compressed air.
- Remove the spark plug.
To install:
- Check and adjust the spark plug gap as necessary.
NOTESpark plug gap should be 0.041-0.045 inch (1.05-1.15 mm) - Install spark plugs and tighten to 9 ft. lbs. (12 Nm)
- Reinstall ignition coil.
