How to replace Instrument Cluster on Acura Car Models?

The procedure is as follows :-----

Instrument Cluster


REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Integra



  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Lower the steering column.
  3. Remove the screws.
  4. Detach any necessary retaining clips.
  5. Remove the instrument cluster as an assembly.
  6. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
CL
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Lower the steering column.
  3. Remove the cruise control master switch.
  4. Remove the panel brightness controller.
  5. Remove the retaining screws.
  6. Detach any necessary clips.
  7. Remove the instrument cluster as an assembly.
  8. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the center air vent from the dash.
  3. Remove the climate control unit and audio unit as a unit.
  4. Remove the dashboard lower cover.
  5. Remove the drivers switch trim.
  6. Remove the screws and clips.
  7. Carefully pull out the instrument panel in the numbered sequence seen in the included art.

Legend
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the dashboard lower cover.
  3. Remove the instrument cluster.

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

BULB REPLACEMENT

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument cluster as outlined in this section.
  3. Turn the desired bulb socket counter clockwise to remove it from the cluster.
  4. Grasp the bulb and pull it straight out to remove it from the socket.
To install:
  1. Place a new bulb into the socket and lightly press it into place.
  2. Place the socket into the cluster and turn the socket clockwise to engage it into the cluster.
  3. Install the instrument cluster.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
