The Air Charge Sensor is Usually located in the intake manifold, it measures the temperature of incoming fresh air and then relays this information to the computer. When the outside air is cold, the air charge sensor signals the ECC (engine control computer) also known as ECM (engine control module) or ECU (electronic control unit) to enrich the fuel/air mixture. When the outside air is warm, it signals the ECC to lean out the fuel and air mixture.

Where is AIR CHARGE SENSOR Located on 2000 Honda Odyssey?

On Honda Odyssey AIR CHARGE SENSOR is located Under hood, driver side, upper engine area, above valve cover, mounted on intake assembly.The air charge temperature sensor senses the temperature of the air so it can know how much air to mix with the gasoline. If this is not working right, the car may stall when stopped or may hard to start.If the Air charge sensor is dirty,then cleaning the sensor with parts cleaner liquid will help.But if its faulty,then it has to be replaced.
