Accelerator Cable Operation:
A cable and casing assembly that connects the accelerator pedal to the
throttle valve or plates for control of air and fuel mixtures into the
carburetor or fuel injection system. This cable also allows the movement of
the throttle linkage to initiate the engagement of passing gear through
the detent cable.
