How to setup sound on PC computers and laptops?

If you have proper drivers for sound, its hardly a few minutes tie to set sound on your new or may be old pc.

Install the drivers for the sound device. If the sound hardware came with an installation disc, insert the CD into the drive and follow the prompts. If the sound device does not have a disc, contact the manufacturer or download the drivers from the manufacturer's website. To check the system for sound devices, go to "Start," "Control Panel" and "Sound and Audio Devices." The primary sound device will be shown in the top of this window. Step 2 Check the "Audio Devices" properties window for muted volume or the volume bar set to minimum. Either of these will cause the sound to not work. Step 3 Check "Device Manager" for improper settings or problems with the device. Go to "Start," "Control Panel" and "System," then select the "Hardware" tab, then press the "Device Manager" button. A list of hardware will be displayed. Audio devices are under "Sound Video and Game Controllers." The device will be titled the same as it appeared in the "Sound and Audio Devices" window in the "Control Panel." By double clicking on the device, it will display the properties. There is a selection at the bottom of the first tab that will display whether the device is "Enabled" or "Disabled." Any conflicts will also be given in the form of small exclamation marks. Step 4 Check the volume knob on the physical speakers.
This details will help you.
Thanks.

EMachine Factory Restore?

In Factory restore procedure, you will loose all your unsaved files and folders.

Back up all of your photos, documents, folders, files, favorites (bookmarks) and anything else you would like to keep and reinstall after the system recovery. Use a CD, DVD, flash drive, MP3 or external hard drive to store your data temporarily.
Click on the "System Recovery" icon (usually found within the start menu) and begin the process by following the on-screen prompts.
Click on "restore" and note the warnings about losing all of your data. Wait for the computer to complete the process of erasing the hard drive and creating a new partition.
Insert the emachines recovery disk in the CD tray when prompted. This will start the process. There are usually one or two disks involved and the computer will let you know which ones to insert when and will even eject the tray automatically in most cases. You may have to restart at least three times, do not be alarmed by this and keep the disk in until you are prompted otherwise.
Example of Windows Installation Install Windows on the new partition and follow the prompts on your screen. Be sure to choose the largest partition, the one with the most kb available. There are usually two to choose from, as you have deleted the other ones in the steps prior.
Reinstall all of your backed up data and any software programs you are currently using, including the printer and Internet, if needed. Be sure all of your drivers and hardware is working properly, as they have been reinstalled as well during the recovery process.

How to by pass BIOS on Toshiba laptops?

This details will guide you to do the following:---
Key Disk for Toshiba laptops. Some Toshiba notebooks allow to bypass BIOS by inserting a "key-disk" in the floppy disk drive while booting. To create a Toshiba Keydisk, take a 720Kb or 1.44Mb floppy disk, format it (if it's not formatted yet), then use a hex editor such as Hex Workshop to change the first fwe bytes of the second sector (the one after the boot sector) and set them to 4B 45 59 00 00 (note that the first three bytes are the ASCII for "KEY" :) followed by two zeroes). Once you have created the key disk put it into the notebook's drive and turn it on, then push the reset button and when asked for password, press Enter. You will be asked to Set Password again. Press Y and Enter. You'll enter the BIOS configuration where you can set a new password.
This detail /procedure will help you out.
Thanks.
