How To Replace Blower Motor on Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator?


The procedure is similar for both ford and Lincoln car models:-----

Blower Motor
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Details are as follows:---

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions section.
  2. On Expedition & Navigator models, remove the RH quarter trim panel.
  3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the screws, then remove the blower motor.
  5. On Expedition & Navigator models remove the wheel from the blower motor, as follows:
    1. Remove the push clip.
    2. Remove the wheel.
  6. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. Use a new push clip to install the wheel onto the blower motor.

How to replace Blower Motor on Ford Windstar?

The details o replace blower motor are as follows :----


Blower Motor
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Procedure is mentioned below:---


Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove both rear passenger seats.
Remove the three push pin retainers from the lower edge of the auxiliary heater and air conditioning service cover.
Lift the service cover outward and upward to remove.
Label and disconnect the electrical harness.
Remove the blower motor housing tube.
Loosen the three retaining screws and remove the blower motor.

To install:

Install the blower motor and tighten retaining screws securely.
Install the blower motor housing tube.
Connect the electrical harness.
Position the service cover and install the three push pin retainers from the lower edge of the cover.
Install both rear passenger seats.
Connect the negative battery cable.
