2007 Ford F350:C1175 code for left rear speed sensor

ABS light is on and

Error code  b2900 and c1175 is coming up in vehicle scanning.

Code c1175 is a left rear speed sensor problem, but on 2007 ford f350 truck there is no rear speed sensor.

It is not uncommon for that code to set for the rear sensor. I'm not sure why they progam it like that. The rear speed sensor has been a problem for ages on ford truck vehicles.

It can be Vin mismatch issue.Or the other problem is your computer lost its programmed data.

Its like formating the computer, when its data gets corrupted.

The vin mismatch is usually set when a module has been replaced without being programed. Almost all the modules are programed with the VIN and vehicle specific programing. Every thing talks to each other through the network much like in an office. The vehicle speed info is input to the ABS module then goes to the instrument cluster, radio. as data. If the module is not programed or programed with software other than that for your specific vehicle other system can be in error due to corrupt data.So get the computer module inspected or need to try with another vehicle specific engine control computer module.

At ford dealership your vehicles computer module manufacturer date will be retrieved and its issues can be identified. If it's just a normal data loss to computer module, then basic programming to these module will resolve the error otherwise the computer module needs to be replaced.

These details will help.
Thanks,

2007 Dodge 3500 4x4: ABS and Parking Brake Warning light on Dash?

While driving ABS and Park brake warning light comes up on dashboard panel.

This indicates error code stored in ABS module and ECM.
The Error codes needs to be scanned by scan tool.

In most cases this problem is related to faulty Speed Sensor.

Or wiring pigtail to the speed sensor connector is loose or broken.
First inspect this .

Many a times you replace the faulty part but still the Warning lights again come up on dash.

In that case try the reset procedure for cars Engine control system.

For that, disconnect both battery cables from the battery and tape the battery cables ends together for 10 minutes(this discharges the capacitors in the module to erase the fault codes). After 10 minutes untape and reconnect the cables to the battery.

IF the warning lights come back on, then either one of two things - there is a short in the harness between the sensor connector and the abs control module or there is a broken tooth on the tone ring the rear sensor reads. Check wiring harness from end of sensor connector back to the abs control module for breaks/cuts/chafing and repair as needed. If ok, then the rear differential cover has to come off to inspect the tone ring for broken teeth or cracks in it and replaced.

Getting this possibilities checked will help.
Thanks.

How to replace ABS Modulator Control Unit on Acura Integra?

The details are mentioned below:---

Modulator Control Unit

The Modulator Control Unit (MCU) contains solenoid valves for each wheel. These valves are independent of each other and are positioned vertically for improved maintainability. The modulators for the rear wheels act as proportioning control valves to prevent the rear wheels from locking up in the event the anti-lock braking system is malfunctioning or not activated.
